• Take half a teaspoon of ginger juice with half a teaspoon of honey, three times a day (morning, noon and night). In winter, warm the mixture by mixing a teaspoon of warm water in it.

• Mix half a cup of warm water with one teaspoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of honey.Take several times a day.

• Smash 3 fresh garlic cloves; add these to 2 quarts (2 liter) of water in a pot. Boil this on a low fire for about one hour. Take it off the fire and let it cool down a bit. Then strain it and keep the liquid in a sealed bottle. Take sips from this throughout the day.

• Mix 2 teaspoons of fresh turmeric powder in a glass of warm milk. Drink it 2 to 3 times a day.

• Boil a pot full of hot water, put it securely on a table and add Vicks VapoRub stir until mixed properly. Drape a towel over your head and lean over the pot. Gently breathe the steam and vapors for 10 – 15 minutes
